  • Jean-Christophe Napoléon Bonaparte

    MANAGING PARTNER

    Jean-Christophe is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Leon Capital.

    Prior to founding Leon Capital, he was a Principal at Blackstone, part of the European Private Equity team, in the London office. Prior to Blackstone, he worked in Private Equity at Advent International and in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.

    Jean-Christophe holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Management from HEC Paris.

  • Christos Lavidas

    MANAGING PARTNER

    Christos is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Leon Capital.

    Prior to founding Leon Capital, he was a Principal at Elliott Advisors, and a Principal in KKR. In both roles he sat in the European Private Equity teams. He started his career at Morgan Stanley in London.

    Christos holds an MBA (with distinction) from Harvard Business School and a First Class BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

  • Michael Youtsos, PhD

    PARTNER

    Michael is a co-founding Partner and leads the Firm’s Energy Transition investment strategy.

    He previously was a Partner at McKinsey & Company where he co-led the European Sustainable Investing service line. Prior to joining McKinsey he worked at Booz & Company in London and National Oil Shale Holdings in Houston, TX.

    Michael holds a PhD in Oil & Gas Engineering, and a MEng in Aerospace Engineering, both from the University of Cambridge.

    COO & IR

    Ed is responsible for operations, investor relations, marketing and communication at Leon Capital.

    Prior to joining Leon Capital at its formation, Ed spent six years as a founding team member of the global placement agent BearTooth Advisors. Prior to BearTooth Advisors, Ed was a member of the UBS Private Funds Group. He began his career in Leveraged Finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

    Ed graduated the University of Durham with a first class honors BA degree in Theology, and MA Theology from the same.

  • Anne Sheedy

    CFO

    Anne is responsible for all financial functions at Leon Capital.

    Anne has worked in private equity since 2004 most recently as CFO at Cap10 Partners. Previous roles included CFO at Vision Capital, GP at EQT, and Finance and Investor Relations Director at Terra Firma. Anne began her financial services career at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

    She is a qualified accountant and studied Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. Anne recently completed studies in Sustainability and in Sustainable Finance with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
